In July 2019, Kathak Kendra Nrityashala began its journey with just 3 to 4 students, igniting a spark of cultural education and artistic expression in Auckland. What started as a small initiative soon blossomed into a vibrant educational hub thanks to the dedication and passion of its founder, Parul Juneja. From its humble beginnings, Kathak Kendra Nrityashala has since witnessed remarkable growth. By July 2020, the student body had expanded to 48-50 students, reflecting the community’s positive response and interest. The school’s reputation continued soaring as it reached a significant milestone of 120 students by July 2021. Parul is a paragon of dedication and passion in the realm of kathak education. Her unwavering commitment to fostering artistic expression and cultural understanding has been a driving force behind the school's impressive growth and success. From its modest beginnings, she has been the heart and soul of the institution, consistently demonstrating a profound enthusiasm for nurturing talent and connecting the community through the arts. Her dedication is evident in the countless hours she has invested in developing and expanding the school’s programs, ensuring that each student receives top-notch education and support. Even when faced with challenges, such as relocating to Melbourne, Parul's resolve never wavered.
