DK Alayam

The DK Alayam intermediate Bharatanatyam group is a team of teenage dancers who each began learning the art form at five or six and have trained together for several years under Smt. Krithika Devendran. Their work has moved from basic adavus and simple rhythmic patterns to intricate choreography, expressive abhinaya and complex formations. Years of classes and rehearsals have taught them to move with precision and respond to one another on stage, and they bring a youthful energy to a timeless tradition.
