Melbourne Diwali 2026 runs from 2pm to 10pm on Saturday 31 October at Marvel Stadium Square, Docklands, with free entry for everyone. The main stage carries the day: the Melbourne Diwali dance competition through the afternoon, the Diwali lighting ceremony at dusk, and an evening showcase to close. Dance schools, academies, community groups and school groups make up the programme, and the confirmed groups are listed on this page as they are announced.
