This website and Melbourne Diwali are managed by SarasCare, the trading name of Saraswati Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Ltd (ABN 56 621 087 394), a registered charity at 2 Wharf Street, Docklands VIC 3008. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SarasCare, as the manager of Melbourne Diwali.

The Melbourne Diwali name and logo are used by SarasCare to manage the festival, and may not be used without permission. The photos on this website are used with permission, and partner and stallholder logos belong to their owners.

You are welcome to share links to any page. Please do not copy our photos, text, name or logo for commercial use, or use them in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission. Material we provide for sharing, such as the partner and stallholder badges, can be used as described on the page that provides it.

This website links to our partners, our stallholders and other websites. Some links to our partners are sponsored, which means they are part of a partnership with us. Other websites are not run by us, and we are not responsible for their content, their offers or how they handle your information.

We work to keep this website accurate and up to date, but details change. The programme, performers, stalls and timings are all subject to change, right up to the day. Please check the website or our social media for the latest before you travel.

When you use a form on this website, or one linked from it, please:

• give honest and accurate information
• only give someone else's details if you have their permission, or are their parent or guardian
• not send spam, or anything unlawful, abusive or harmful

We may disregard or delete submissions that misuse a form. Applying to perform, to join the crew or for a stall does not guarantee a place.

We provide this website to help people enjoy the festival. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that results from relying on information on this website, or from the website being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms, and the conditions of entry in Part B, are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria can hear any dispute about them.

Melbourne Diwali 2026 is on Saturday 31 October 2026, from 2pm to 10pm, at Marvel Stadium Square in Docklands.

Entry is free and no ticket is required. We encourage you to register through Eventbrite: registration is not a ticket and nobody is turned away for not registering, but it helps us plan for the right number of people and keeps you up to date with the programme. See event info to register.

Marvel Stadium Square is at street level with step-free access. Companion Card holders are welcome, and because entry is free, nobody needs a card to get in. There is more on access, transport and parking in the FAQs.

The festival is held at Marvel Stadium Square, and Marvel Stadium's conditions of entry and venue rules apply as well as these conditions.

Please follow the directions of Marvel Stadium staff, security, and Melbourne Diwali staff and crew. They are there to keep everyone safe.

We and the venue may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone whose behaviour is unsafe or unlawful, or who does not follow these conditions or the directions of staff.

Please leave these at home:

• alcohol: the whole site is alcohol-free for the whole day
• glass bottles and glassware
• fireworks and sparklers
• anything with an open flame, so please light your diyas at home rather than at the festival
• drones

The festival site is smoke and vape free for the whole event, and Marvel Stadium is a smoke-free venue.

Anything essential for a medical need is fine to carry. Assistance dogs are welcome and must wear their identifying harness; please bring any accreditation documents with you. Please leave other pets at home. If you are unsure about an item, ask us through the contact page before the day.

Melbourne Diwali is a family festival. Children must be supervised by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult while they are at the festival.

If your child gets lost, speak straight away to any customer service staff member wearing a Marvel Stadium vest or a Melbourne Diwali vest. They are there to look after lost children and reunite families quickly.

Two things help: agree a meeting point with your children when you arrive, and take a photo of your child on your phone that morning, so staff know exactly who they are looking for and what they are wearing.

The festival is photographed and filmed, and we use the photos and film to promote Melbourne Diwali. By coming to the festival you may appear in them.

Our privacy policy explains how we use these images and how to ask us to remove an image of you or your child from our own channels.

All food at Melbourne Diwali is vegetarian, satvik and cruelty free. Our vendors may carry their own food labels and certifications, but these do not apply at our event, because all food served is intended to be universal and inclusive. Ingredients vary from stall to stall, so please ask at the stall if you have allergies or particular requirements.

Stallholders are independent businesses, and every listing, claim, product, service and offer shown here is their own. Melbourne Diwali does not endorse or verify them and is not responsible for them. Please make your own enquiries before you buy.

The same applies to our partners: each partner is responsible for its own products, activations and offers at the festival.

The programme, performers, stalls and timings may change, including on the day.

Marvel Stadium Square is undercover and the festival goes ahead rain or shine. In extreme weather, or for other reasons outside our control, we may need to change the schedule or activities, or postpone or cancel the festival. If that happens we will post updates on this website and our social media.

Please look after your belongings and the people you come with. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings at the festival.

The Melbourne Diwali 2026 Launch on Friday 9 October 2026 at Parliament House is by invitation only. Parliament House admits guests from the list we provide, and its own entry and security arrangements apply on the day. See The Launch for details.
