Medhasvi Centre for Indian Performing Arts and Culture

Medhasvi Centre for Indian Performing Arts and Culture is a Melbourne initiative dedicated to preserving, teaching and celebrating India's performing arts traditions. It was founded by artist and educator Medha Aich, a Visharad in Bharatanatyam with a Masters in Dramatic Arts from the National School of Drama, New Delhi. Medhasvi offers structured training in Bharatanatyam, integrating practice with the history, theory and philosophy of Indian classical dance, alongside training in Hindustani classical singing, Hindi language and drama. The focus is on discipline, expression and cultural understanding.
