Today, we are delighted to welcome ANZ to Melbourne Diwali 2026.
Melbourne Diwali has always been more than a celebration. It is a Festival of Hope—a place where families, performers, volunteers, students, local businesses and community organisations come together to celebrate light over darkness and the sense of belonging created through shared experiences.
In 2025, 20,000 people joined the festival. Over 6,000 children took part in the celebrations, while 112 university graduates gained valuable experience in event management and marketing.
Behind these numbers are thousands of meaningful moments: a child discovering a tradition, a performer sharing their art, a local business connecting with new customers and families from different backgrounds celebrating side by side.
Bringing these moments to life requires an extraordinary collective effort. Volunteers and community members give the festival its heart, while corporate partnerships help provide the confidence and capacity needed to grow.

It helps organisers plan welcoming, safe and high-quality experiences while creating more opportunities for artists, young people, local businesses and community organisations.
